Player Pages

The player pages are a dynamic tool for getting alot of information about a specific player very quickly. The player pages begin with a form wherein you type a player's first name, last name, then select his team. When you click the button to get information, you get:

  • The latest news, on that player, from Google, Yahoo, Topix.
  • The latest team news from team newspaper sites
  • The latest local weather report from Weather.com
  • The last 4 years of stats on the player
Here's the player pages link

Do it yourself Cheatsheets

The do it yourself cheatsheets are a list of player names that you drag and drop into a ranking order. It's a very simple, yet very useful, tool to get your rankings done quickly and efficiently. The player pages form is there, as well, in case you'd like to doublecheck the news or stats on a specific player

Stats

Every site posts stats, so I try to do something a little different, hopefully better. The Game stats are game stats for each week of the season. Who started? How much did each runningback run for? How much did each Quarterback pass for? What was the score after each posession? etc. There are also play by play stats for every game of the 2007 season in there as well. The player stats are the typical yards, touchdowns, receptions etc but, also with how many games a Quarterback threw for 300 yards, how many times a runningback ran for 100 yards, how many times a wide receiver had 4 catches in a game etc. The stats are loaded into the page by an XML file. The XML files can be downloaded by anyone. Browsers, spreadsheet programs, even notepad can open XML files.
